Micaela Lottini is a Lecturer in Administrative Law at the Law Faculty of Rome Tre. She graduated in law in 1998 from the University of Rome La Sapienza with a thesis on Le tutele giustiziali in Italia e in Gran Bretagna (supervisor Prof. Alberto Romano), in 2003, earned her Ph.D. at Roma Tre with her final thesis, entitled: Limiti del mercato fra diritto comunitario e diritto italiano, (supervisor Prof. Guido Corso). She has been a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Philadelphia, USA; at the Centre of European Law; King's College (London), at the Department of Government; University of Manchester (GB), at the Department of Law; University of Sheffield (GB); and at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She lectures in Italy and abroad (in particular, at the Centre of European Law, King's College London, and at the Department of Government, University of Manchester). Her research regards both administrative law and European law, and is carried out both in Italian and in English: her latest publication is: The New Interpretative Communication on IPPPs: Has the Issue Really Been "Interpreted"? in European Public Private Partnership Law Review, 2008.
