Professor Giandonato Caggiano

Giandonato CaggianoGiandonato Caggiano teaches European Union Law and coordinates Roma Tre's Masters in European Law. He is the Director of the Associazione Cantiere Europea.

Formerly, he taught European Community Law and International Law at the Faculty of Political Science at the Istituto Universitario Orientale di Napoli from 1977 to 1995.

He has carried out research at the Max-Planck-Institut in Munich, Baveria and at Michigan Law School (USA). He was the Head of training and Director of Rome's Società italiana per l'organizzazione internazionale (S.I.O.I.) from 1991 to 1996.

He participated in the international negotiations on behalf of Italy's National Research Center (as part of the World Intellectual Property Organization) and for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (regarding the Council of Europe and the European Community).

His main publications deal with succession of treaties and international and European law regarding intellectual property, broadcasting, foreign and local entities.
