Professor Bruno Bises
of Public Finance in the Faculty of Law at the Università
degli Studi di "Roma Tre." At Roma Tre he
has served as a member of the Evaluation Body (2003-2007), the Body
of Teachers of the Doctoral School in Law and Economics and the
Executive Committee of the Interdepartmental Centre for the Economics
He received his degree in Law from the University of Rome (1972) and a Master of Philosophy in Economics from the University of York (UK) (1981).
Previous academic affiliations include teaching as Assistant Professor of Public Finance at the University of Rome (1977-1983), Associate Professor of Public Finance at the University of Cagliari (1983-1986) and as Professor of Public Finance at the University "D'Annunzio" at Pescara (1986-1996). He is also tenured at the High School of Public Administration in Rome and in post-graduate and Master courses.
He has served as a Member of two governmental commissions appointed
by the Ministry of Finance to design a new tax regime for non-profit
organizations (1996 and 1997), as a member of the Board of Administrators
at Roma Tre (1999-2002) and as President of Roma Tre
Centre for the Economics of Institutions (1998-2002).
His most recent research interests are in the tax
system and non-profit sector, public support to cultural activities
and fiscal measures to support private R&D. He has published
numerous books and articles in these fields.
